Sunday Service

Worship service is held every Sunday at 9:30 am. Sacrament of the Lord's Supper is served the 1st Sunday of each month.  Please join us as we worship and praise God each Sunday. If you can’t join us watch us live at: ​http://wgcpc.sermon.net/

  • Session Meeting - 2nd Monday of every month at 7:00pm
  • Deacon's Meeting - 3rd Wednesday of every month at 5:00pm 
  • ​Prayer Time - Thursdays at 11:30am in the Church Sanctuary
  • ​Church Cleanup Day - Last Saturday of every month at 8am

  • JUST A REMINDER..... Our church services are "LIVE" and recorded as a video now. We are using a program called Sermon.Net which specializes in servicing the local church.   You can "live-stream" the service anywhere you are - on any type of device with an internet connection.  From this website, click on the Sunday service hyperlink above and join us from wherever you are.      

                                                                         

  • Join us for Bible Study on Tuesdays at 7:00pm... Check with the church office or the weekly email update for study location.    If you have ever considered attending, now (actually....anytime) is the perfect time to join this interesting and fun (yes...fun) group.  Bring your Bible and a pen or pencil.


  • Do not forget about the Men's Breakfast - the 2nd Saturday  of each month at 7:00am.  Mark your calendars and plan to join this great group for a tasty breakfast and interesting discussion in Koinonia Hall.


  • Decorating for Christmas:   We will be decorating the church and Koinonia Hall on Sunday, December 3rd, following the church service.    Please mark your calendars.  This is  the first Sunday of Advent so we need to get it done.  All volunteers are welcome. 


  • Food and Clothing Needed:  It's time.  The barrels are put out in the Narthex waiting for your donations of food and clothing to benefit the needy in our community for the holiday season.  Check your closets and pantry to see what you can donate!  Your Deacons thank you in advance.


  • Time to Order Poinsettias:  Do not forget to order poinsettias "in Honor of" or "In Memory of" a friend or loved one.  Cost this year will be $16 due with your order.  Order forms will be available in the Narthex and Koinonia Hall, or you can come into the church office which is open from 9 AM to Noon, Monday through Thursday.   The flowers grace the Chancel area of the church for our Candlelight service on December 17th and can be taken home following the service.  The cutoff date for placing orders is Sunday, December 10th.   


  • Time to Jam!  Calling all those who play an instrument ... for all levels of players.   Location:  Walnut Grove Community Church, 14120 Grand Ave., Walnut Grove, in Koinonia Hall. When: The monthly day and time is yet to be decided.  Please call Doug at 559-630-2514 if you are interested.  Leave the message "I'm calling about the jam sessions..."  and he will call
    back.  Wanted:  All musicians who want to jam together, and to practice and learn songs, whether folk, Celtic or contemporary faith music and jazz.  
    There is a piano on site, and percussionists welcome!  We want your involvement!  Bring your favorite song!
